CBPD release – The Coos Bay Police Department (CBPD) arrested a Coos Bay man on three outstanding warrants after conducting a search warrant on a property in the Bunker Hill neighborhood of Coos Bay. On March 14, 2024, CBPD officers requested and were granted a search warrant for a home near Bay Park Lane and Cleveland Lane. CBPD officers were searching for 29-year-old Jeremy Galindo, who had three outstanding arrest warrants. The officers successfully executed the search warrant, arrested Mr. Galindo, and transported him to the Coos County Jail on the following warrants: • Coos Bay Police Department felony warrant charging two counts of attempt to elude, felon in possession of a firearm, reckless driving and reckless endangering. • Marion County Sheriff’s Office misdemeanor warrant charging contempt of court. • Oregon State Parole Board felony warrant charging parole violation. The CBPD was assisted by the Coos County Emergency Response Team (ERT), Drone Team members, the North Bend Police Department (NBPD), and the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indian Police Department (CTCLUSI).
