Southwestern Oregon’s softball team won its opening game at the NWAC Tournament, Delta Park, Portland, Thursday, 10-2 over Chemeketa, but the Lakers fell in the second game, 8-4 to Wenatchee Valley. SWOCC (35-12) plays Douglas (23-11) on Friday morning, 10 a.m. Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team (26-24) takes on Wenatchee Valley (32-18) at the NWAC Super Regionals, Edmonds College, Edmonds, WA, Friday, May 17, 1p.
