Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team got a split with Bellevue at Vancouver, WA on Saturday, winning the opener 10-9, but dropping the second game 13-2 (7). The Lakers (20-16, 26-24) have qualified for the NWAC playoffs by finishing third in the South Conference. SWOCC’s softball team finished the regular season Friday at home with a split to visiting Lower Columbia (22-6, 38-11). Southwestern (22-6, 34-11) won the opener 3-2, but lost the second game 10-0 (5). The two teams finish tied for second in the Southern Conference and both will advance to the NWAC playoffs.
