Southwestern Oregon’s softball team picked up a couple of NWAC wins at Clark College, Vancouver, WA, Saturday. The Lakers (29-10, 17-5) have six-games remaining in the regular season and stand in third-place in the South Conference. Mt. Hood (19-3, 36-3) and Lower Columbia (19-3, 35-8) are tied for first. Next game for SWOCC is at Centralia, WA on Friday, May 3rd. Southwestern’s baseball team lost three-out-of-four games to first-place Linn-Benton. Saturday, the Roadrunners won both games at Albany, 2-1 & 8-1. On Sunday, Linn-Benton took the first game 4-1, but the Lakers took the finale 4-3 (8). Fourth place SWOCC hosts Mt. Hood for two NWAC games on Thursday, May 2, 1 & 4p.
