Southwestern Oregon’s men’s basketball teams opened the 2023-24 season with a win Friday at the Treasure Valley Tournament in Ontario, OR. The Lakers beat Whatcom, 101-87. On Saturday, SWOCC downed Treasure Valey 77-76 and Sunday, knocked off Centralia 74-62. Southwestern (3-0) plays in the Red Devil Classic beginning Friday, Nov. 24 against Lower Columbia, 7 p.m., at Longview, WA.
