Charleston, OR- Due to an issue with the plumbing system, the South Slough Visitor Center and restrooms will be closed until repaired. The South Slough Visitor Center and restrooms will be closed to public activity from 2/24 @ 3:00 p.m. until further notice due to a breakdown in the plumbing system rendering the restrooms unusable. During this time, we will be working on getting the building and restrooms open for safe access as soon as possible. The Oregon Department of State Lands enacted the closure as a public safety measure due to hazards from lack of restroom facilities. South Slough trails remain open dawn – dusk.
