Summer traffic on the Central Oregon Coast was disrupted Wednesday afternoon following a shooting that left one person dead and another in custody. According to reports, Hwy. 101 over the Yaquina Bay Bridge at Newport was shutdown for about two-hours following the shooting just before 1 p.m. The name of the deceased has not been released by investigators.
