A 2.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded just off of Crescent City, CA Friday, Nor. 24. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located northwest of the Humboldt Co. community near the Oregon Border. On Saturday, a 3.1-magntude quake was recorded at the Southern Junction of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon. According to the USGS, the quake was located south to southwest of Ferndale, Ca near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
