A 3.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded just outside the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Wednesday morning, Aug. 30th. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Coos Bay. A second quake as recorded Tuesday near the southern end of the two fault lines. The USGS reported a 2.6-magnitude quake west of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
