Boys’ soccer Wednesday – 4A – North Bend beat visiting Marshfield 3-2. 3A/2A/1A – Coquille/Myrtle Pt. tied Glide, 3-3.

At the Umpqua Invite cross-country meet Wednesday at Stewart Park, Roseburg, both Marshfield and North Bend competed. In the boy’s 5K race, Roseburg won with 112-points, Marshfield was 13th with 364-points, and North Bend 15th with 383. Sophomore Jaxson Stovall led the Pirates in 13th (16:43.10), and junior Matix Hinzman led the Bulldogs in 43rd (17:48.20). Bandon freshman Noah Brown was 47th (17:52.80). North Bend’s girls were fourth overall with 153-points. Klamath Union won with 133. Bandon was sixth with 179-points, and Marshfield 18th with 461-points. Freshman Bryleigh Mead led North Bend in 5th (20:03.00), senior Analise Miller led Bandon in 17th (20:57.90), and freshman Lily Thompson led the Pirates in 78th (23:19.70). Next up for the Pirates and Bulldogs is District at Lane CC, Eugene, Thursday, Oct. 26.
