Marshfield’s wrestlers captured the 15-team Sutherlin Wrestling Classic Tuesday. The Pirates tallied 113.0-points to Pleasant Hill with 74, and Douglas with 70. Siuslaw was 11th, Gold Beach 12th, Myrtle Pt. 13th and Coquille 15th. In the boys’ varsity: 99-102 – 2nd Garron Castro (M); 112-116 – 2nd Leonardo Pacheco (M); 116-120 – 3rd Hadyn Widdicombe (M); 124-130 – 2nd Trayton Forbes (M); 126-131 – 1st Reese Hite (M); 134-138 – 2nd Joseph Williams (M); 154 – 4th Gage Saxon (M); 168-174 – 2nd Aryan Wright (M); 169-174 – 4th Aaron Sinnot (M); 189-192 – 3rd Wyatt Petley (M); 245-272 – 3rd Bryson Harvey (M).
