Prep boys’ basketball polls
This week’s prep basketball OSAA/Coach’s Polls have Marshfield among those “receiving significant votes” in the 4A Poll. Cascade is No. 1, followed by Baker and Junction City. No other South Coast teams made the weekly polls. The OSAA State 3A Boys’ Basketball Tournament is Feb. 29 – March 2 in the Bay Area. The top team is Cascade Christian (17-6), followed by De La Salle North Catholic (16-6), Westside Christian (19-5), Valley Catholic (18-5), and Pleasant Hill (19-3). Tickets to the tournament can be found at www.osaa.org.

Prep girls’ basketball scores from Wednesday, Feb. 14: 1A – Powers won at Myrtle Pt. 42-29. Prep boys’ basketball scores: 2A – Bandon lost at Lowell 55-45.
