Pacific Power Restores Service to Most in Southern Oregon, March 5

MEDFORD, OR – With field crews working tirelessly for a third day, power has successfully been restored for most customers in Pacific Power’s southern Oregon and northern California service area. As of 4pm, there are 24 outages remaining, affecting 80 customers. In some areas, access issues and challenging conditions are prolonging restoration efforts. “We thank customers for their continued patience, understanding that some have been without electricity for days,” said Erik Brookhouse, vice president of system operations for Pacific Power. “We want to assure them that our crews are working night and day to restore power, in difficult terrain and conditions.” For updates on outage restoration times, visit pacificpower.net/outages. Pacific Power encourages customers to always be prepared for outages and supports state and local emergency management organizations, recommending Oregonians have an emergency plan for up to 72 hours without essential services.
