Oregon State’s wrestling team lost a Pac-12 Dual Sunday to Arizona State, 19-17 at Tempe, AZ. The Beavers (2-2, 5-5) wrestle at Wyoming, Saturday, Feb. 10, 5 p.m., Laramie, WY.

OSU release – SPOKANE, Wash. – Jada Hurley rewrote the Oregon State record book at the Riverfront Invite, setting new top times in the 60 meters and 200 meters over the weekend. The junior from Grants Pass, Ore. topped the OSU charts in the 200 meters in 24.50 seconds on Friday before posting back-to-back PBs in the 60 meters on Saturday to rise to no. 3 all time at 7.59 seconds and then the top spot with a 7.51-second burst in her second race of the day. Hurley’s efforts highlighted a strong weekend for the sprints, jumps and multis squad in the Inland Northwest. Two other 60 meter runners also tied or hit new personal records with Delaney Bahn entering the OSU Top 10 at no. 8 (7.91 seconds) and Treasure Rinaldi tying her PB of 7.97 seconds. The weekend closed with Adael Scatena and Hurley climbing up the 400-meter ranks. Scatena raced to the no. 3 spot all time in 56.07 seconds while Hurley entered the top 10 for the first time with a 57.03-second race, good for eighth. Anneke Moersdorf opened the week finishing second overall and first among collegians in the pentathlon. Her 3,949 points were just off a personal best and have her in the hunt to qualify for indoor nationals. The redshirt senior moved up to third all-time in the 60m hurdles with a finish in 8.63 seconds and tied her personal best with a 1.68m/5-6 leap in the high jump. She also won the 800 meters in 2:20.37. Next week, the Beavs head to New Mexico for the Don Kirby Invite.
