It’s down to one game in the regular season for both Oregon and Oregon State this collegiate football season. The Ducks will enter the annual in-state rivalry game with a win at Arizona State, Saturday, 49-13 to improve to 7-1 in the Pac-12 and 10-1 overall. The Beavers (5-, 8-3) come in following a loss to unbeaten Washington 22-20 Saturday at Reser Stadium, Corvallis. Oregon and Oregon State will meet on Friday, Nov. 24, 5:30 p.m. at Autzen Stadium, Eugene, televised on Fox.

Oregon’s women dropped an 89-50 non-conference collegiate basketball game to visiting Santa Clara, Saturday, at Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene. The Ducks (3-1) play at Nevada, Reno, NV, on Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., Mountain West Network.

Oregon’s volleyball team made it a clean sweep in the Desert in Pac-12 play. On Friday, the Ducks beat Arizona State 3-1 at Tempe, AZ, and on Sunday, Oregon downed Arizona 3-0 a Tucson, AZ. The Ducks (14-4, 24-5) play USC at home Tuesday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m., Matthew Knight Arena, Pac-12 Insider. Oregon State beat Arizona 3-0 on Friday, but lost 3-1 on Sunday at Arizona State. The Beavers (6-12, 11-17) play UCLA at home Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1 p.m., Pac-12 Insider.

OSU release – PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon State men’s soccer team has advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament by virtue of a 3-0 win over Portland Sunday evening at Merlo Field. This marks the second time the Beavers have made it to the Round of 16. Oregon State advances to face SMU in Dallas later this week. Logan Farrington found the net twice, bringing his total to scored his 13 goals on the season, as he moved into fifth in Oregon State history for goals in a campaign. Andrew De Gannes netted the Beaver third to secure the win. The Beavers out-shot the Pilots 13-11 in the contest. The Beavers struck first, opening the scoring in the ninth minute as Farrington headed a cross off the post and into the net. Oregon State headed to the break leading by a goal. Pere Belmonte nearly doubled the Oregon State advantage in the 53rd minute, but his effort was just over the crossbar. Farrington netted his second in the 64th minute, as he hammered one home off assists from Dante Williams and Belmonte. Belmonte forced a sprawling save in the 78th minute. De Gannes slotted one home in the 79th minute to seal the Beaver victory. The Pilots were reduced to 10-men in the closing minutes, as Oregon State closed out the three-goal triumph. Oregon State’s men lost 84-63 to Nebraska Saturday at Sioux Falls, SD in a non-conference collegiate basketball game. The Beavers (3-1) are in the NIT Season Tip-Off Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 4 p.m., against Baylor on ESPN2.

NC State won the NCAA Women’s Cross Country Championships Saturday at Charlottesville, VA. Oregon came in 10th. Parker Valby of Florida was the individual champion on the 6K course at Panorama Farms. Kaylee Mitchell of Oregon State was 12th overall (19:34.1), while Duck senior Izzy Thornton-Bott led Oregon in 40th (20:06.7). Oklahoma State won the men’s crown and Graham Blanks of Harvard was the individual champion on the 10K course (28:37.7).
