ODOT release – SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, March 14, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be hybrid, originating in the Prescott Room of the Medford Police Department, 219 S. Ivy Street, Medford. Items on the agenda include: 2024 Legislative Session Summary and Recap: Receive an update on the 2024 legislative session and ODOT’s planned work for the 2024 interim. Urban Mobility Office Update: Receive an update on the progress of a core project outlined in the Urban Mobility Strategy, the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project, and approve a resolution for an ODOT and Albina Vision Trust partnership. Local Project Updates: Receive an update on the I-5 South Medford Interchange Area Management Plan and a presentation on the Rogue Valley Area Commission on Transportation. Project Delivery Update and Challenges: Receive an update on ODOT’s project delivery, management of cost-related risks, and an update of actions being taken to improve fiscal management of the capital program portfolio.
