ODFW release – SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Advisory Committee will meet in Portland on June 5 at 10 a.m., for a tour of area projects. To join the tour, meet at Whitaker Ponds, 7040 NE 47th Ave, Portland, OR 97218 by 10 a.m. Members of the public who join the tour must provide their own lunch and transportation. The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund (OCRF) is a public-private partnership that supports projects to implement the Oregon Conservation Strategy and connect people with the outdoors. The Advisory Committee provides recommendations on expenditures from the OCRF to the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission. More information on the OCRF can be found at OregonIsAlive.org.
