Crystal Meth Seizure, Douglas Co., Jan. 9

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. 8 Dec. 2024 – An Oregon State Police (OSP) traffic stop in Douglas County led to the seizure of 100 pounds of methamphetamine. On Jan. 4, 2024, at approximately 12:15 p.m., an OSP K-9 team stopped a vehicle on Interstate 5 northbound in Douglas County for a traffic violation. A K-9 was deployed to sniff the outside of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of illegal drugs. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a total of 100 pounds of crystal meth located in two large bags in the vehicle’s trunk. The stop resulted in the arrest of two suspects including the vehicle operator Edgar Rene Revolorio (28) of San Bernadino, CA, and passenger Surely Nalley Molina Escalante (35) also of San Bernadino, CA. The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available for release at this time.
