The Charleston Merchants Association is a supporter of measure 6-213. We feel it is important to maintain a high level of public safety in the county to protect local business interests and maintain a welcoming safe area for tourists. Visitors to Coos County spent an estimated 300 million in the area in 2023. This important revenue source for our community will not be sustainable if we can’t maintain an adequate level of public safety in the future.
