CCSO release – Date / Time: October 5th, 11:40 a.m.; Case Number(s): 2023-00029662; Classification: Assault IV Domestic; Location: Rainbow Lane, Lakeside, Oregon; Suspect(s): Raymond Banks (34); Lakeside man arrested on domestic assault charges after victim is seen at Bay Area Hospital. On October 5th, 2023, at 11:40 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of an assault that had occurred on the evening of October 4th in Lakeside, and the victim was now at Bay Area Hospital seeking medical attention. Deputy H. Francis responded to the Hospital to speak with the victim and conduct an investigation. The suspect was identified as Raymond Banks (34) of Lakeside during the investigation. Deputy H. Francis responded to Lakeside, where she contacted Raymond Banks. After taking his statement, Mr. Banks was arrested on the charge of Assault IV Domestic. Mr. Banks was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.
