Barview Road, Coos Bay; Suspect(s): Jonathon W. Rooke (21); Male arrested on Violation of a Stalking Protective Order after call to Dispatch Center for assistance. On May 25th, 2024, at 4:44 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of a violation of a stalking protective order in progress occurring at a residence on S. Barview Road, just south of Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon. Deputy A. Burgo responded to the location and conducted an investigation. As a result the suspect, Jonathon W. Rooke (21) was arrested on the charges of Violation of a Stalking Protective Order, and Harassment (Domestic). Mr. Rooke was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked on the charges. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
Burglary, Grinnell Ln.
CCSO release – Date / Time: May 29th, 2024 8:24 p.m.; Case Number(s): 2024-00012339; Classification: Burglary I, Assault IV (Domestic), Strangulation; Location: Grinnell Lane, Coos Bay; Suspect(s): Timothy R. Henderson (59); Male arrested after report of disturbance on Grinnell Lane. On May 29th, 2024, at 8:48 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of a disturbance in progress on Grinnell Lane just south of Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon. Sgt. J. Boswell and Deputy A. Burgo responded to the location and conducted an investigation. The suspect was identified as Timothy R. Henderson (59) and was located a short distance from the scene by Sgt. Boswell. As a result of Deputy Burgo’s investigation, Timothy R. Henderson (59) was arrested on the charges of Burglary I, Assault IV (Domestic), and Strangulation. Mr. Henderson was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
