More than 5,000 runners are expected to take part in the 50th anniversary of Eugene’s Butte to Butte 5K & 10K runs on Thursday, July 4th. The annual Fourth of July event starts at the foothills of Spencer Butte in south Eugene and continues north to Skinner’s Butte in downtown Eugene.
