ODFW release – SALEM, Ore. – Recent returns of coho to Big Creek Hatchery, Astoria, indicate that broodstock levels will be met and returns are sufficiently high to allow anglers to retain one additional hatchery coho, in addition to the regular salmon and steelhead aggregate bag limit of two fish. The bag limit increase will take effect on Oct. 7. Retention of wild fish is not allowed in Big Creek.
