North Bend travels to Marshfield for a 4A District 4 Prep Volleyball Match Thursday, 6:30 p.m., at the Pirate Palace, Coos Bay. The Bulldogs (2-1, 11-2) are currently ranked No. 3 in the OSAA 2023 Volleyball Rankings, and the Lady Pirates (2-1, 15-3) are ranked No. 1. In 3A – St. Mary’s Medford at Brookings-Harbor. In 2A – Bandon at Gold Beach and Oakland at Reedsport. In 1A – Myrtle Pt. at Riddle and Powers at Pacific. All 6 p.m. starts.

Due to “insufficient coach participation,” no 4A OSAA/Coach’s Volleyball Poll this week, according to the list released by the OSAA. In the 3A Poll: Coquille (11-4) is No. 10.

In prep girls’ soccer, Wednesday, 3A/2A/1A – Siuslaw at Central Linn/East Linn Christian, Brookings-Harbor at Rogue River, and St. Mary’s Medford at Coquille/Myrtle Pt. All begin at 4:30 p.m. In boys’ soccer: 3A/2A/1A – Coquille/Myrtle Pt. at Cascade Christian (Medford), Umpqua Valley Christian at Gold Beach, Glide at Pacific/Bandon, all at 4 p.m. Also, Brookings-Harbor at Rogue Valley Adventist Academy, 3:30 p.m.
