Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team fell at Umpqua CC 3-1 Wednesday in an NWAC match at Winchester, OR. On Friday, the Lakers (1-2, 6-5) travel to the Bellevue Crossover and play Highline at 1 p.m. and Bellevue at 3 p.m. On Saturday, SWOCC plays Yakima Valley at 9 a.m. In men’s soccer, Southwestern tied visiting So. Puget Sound 2-2. The Lakers (0-1, 0-4-1) are at Tacoma Saturday, noon. SWOCC’s women (0-3, 0-6) lost at Lane, Eugene, 1-0 and will play at Umpqua on Sept. 20.
