Former North Bend High School student/athlete Bridger Holmes was selected by the Los Angles Angels in the seventh-round of this year’s Major League Baseball draft. Holmes, an All American relief pitcher for Oregon State, was the 202nd pick overall. He led the Pac-12 in saves and was named by four separate publications as an All-American following the 2024 collegiate season.
