A new addition is coming to the Mill Casino/Hotel/RV Park at North Bend and it is intended to add to the tourism attractions in Oregon’s Bay Area. According to a report, the Coquille Indian Tribe, with 1,200 members, will start distilling alcohol spirits this year through a partnership with Washington-based Heritage Distilling Company. The native-owned distillery will be the first in the State. In addition to the distillery, the Tribe plans on building a Tasting Room and Restaurant overlooking the Coos Bay Estuary. The project is expected to add 30 new jobs.
