A 3.0-magnitude earthquake shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Tuesday, June 4, 2024. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. Just south of that location, a 2.8-magnitude quake was recorded west to northwest of Redway, CA.
