A couple of earthquakes were recorded near the southern junction of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Monday, June 3. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.7-magnitude quake was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA and a 2.9-magnitude quake was located west to northwest of Trinidad, CA. Both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
